ALL  ABOUT  COACH  TESSA

Hi, I’m Tessa and I’ve defeated chronic pain, lost weight and kept it off. Like many people who suffer from chronic pain, my journey has been circuitous. It has weaved and jumped, climbed and taken nosedives. At 16 years old I fell down a flight of stairs, at 25 I had major back surgery and again at 27. At 28 I was diagnosed with chronic migraines, and at 31 I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Along the way, I have had periods of good health and also minor health issues. As my health got worse and doctors seemed to have few answers for me I began to spend more and more time home sick in bed researching how I could heal myself. I became interested in health and nutrition and started making changes to my Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude, and Nutrition. Going L.E.A.N helped alleviate my symptoms and achieve a better quality of life. Today my symptoms are minimal and manageable. As a Master Certified Health Coach, I am educated on how lifestyle and a healthy diet can support your body in healing itself. I am passionate about sharing these life-changing tools and information with you. I work with individuals to support and motivate them to achieve their goals. I love helping clients achieve sustainable behavior changes, moving them forward from prisoners of their body to active participants in their own weight loss and pain recovery.

Tessa earned her Master Health Coach Certification from the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute, established by the world-renowned doctor and author, Dr. William Sears. The Institute is a science-based health and wellness education that centers on the four pillars of health; Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude, and Nutrition (L.E.A.N.).

Certification by the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute is achieved only after completing the comprehensive coursework and meeting all requirements. Once certified, a Health Coach has the knowledge, tools, and assets to make a positive difference in the health of others.
